Magnetic eResonance Therapy uses targeted electromagnetic pulses to stimulate neural networks and improve brain function. Personalized to your unique brainwave patterns through qEEG analysis.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation uses magnetic fields to stimulate specific brain areas associated with mood regulation. FDA-cleared for depression, OCD, and smoking cessation.
Quantitative EEG provides a comprehensive map of your brain's electrical activity, identifying areas of dysregulation to create your personalized treatment protocol.

As a board-certified physician who graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Louisiana State University, Dr. Gabriel Agbanyim brings both professional excellence and deeply personal experience to his work at Novara Healthcare.
After years of practicing medicine, it was Dr. Agbanyim’s own son who ultimately led him to MeRT. Diagnosed with autism at the age of two, his son made slow gains with conventional therapies. But when MeRT was introduced, everything changed — eye contact, speech, and emotional engagement began to emerge in ways Dr. Agbanyim had only hoped for.
At Novara Healthcare, Dr. Agbanyim and his team offer MeRT therapy for children and adults navigating a wide range of neurological and developmental conditions — including autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, traumatic brain injury, and more.
“Watching a nonverbal child speak their parent’s name for the first time — those are the moments that remind me why I do this work. It’s about more than improvement. It’s about hope.”
Yes, all equipment used for MeRT is FDA-cleared. The treatment is completely noninvasive — only magnetic waves are used to gently stimulate brain activity. There are no drugs, anesthetics, or surgical procedures involved. Treatment for certain conditions like depression is also FDA-approved.
A typical treatment course involves sessions five days a week for two to four weeks. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour. Progress is monitored through
follow-up EEGs, and additional treatment rounds may be recommended based on your results.
Absolutely. MeRT is designed to complement other therapies such as ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and more. Many patients find that MeRT enhances the effectiveness of their existing treatment programs by improving brain connectivity and communication.
